Hourglass Modernist Palette

I know I’m a little late on the bandwagon with this one, but today I’m going to be reviewing the heavily-hyped Hourglass Modernist palettes. When I first clapped eyes on a picture of these, I swooned out loud. They are simply beautiful. Because of this, I’ve held back on writing a review as I wanted to be 100% sure how I felt about the actual product, and to give it a thorough road test before putting my thoughts out there for everyone to see, regardless of how aesthetically pleasing they may be!
I love Hourglass on the whole, and have been nothing but impressed with all of the other products I’ve tried from them, so I was expecting great things. Something about this palette however, left me a little disappointed...

The Boob-Checking Shower Gel!

My friends over at boob-checking-charity CoppaFeel are hijacking showers everywhere this month with the release of their limited edition version of I Love... 's Perfectly Peachy Shower Creme.

If you've never heard of CoppaFeel before, it's a charity set up to educate and encourage young women (and men) to check their boobs for the first signs of breast cancer. It was set up by a wonderful woman call Kris Hallenga, who was diagnosed with breast cancer at just 23...

YSL Tint in Oil

I’ve always been a huge fan of YSL lip products. They tend to release unique formulas before all the other brands and I adore their signature fruity, mango scent. When they announced the release of the new ‘Tint in Oil’ however, I wasn’t too excited about it. Something about lip oil isn’t that appealing to me, and combined with colour, it doesn’t sound like it would be a winning combination.
How wrong I was. The texture of these is simply divine, almost like an oil-gloss hybrid. It’s not overly slippy or greasy on the lips, but still has a soft, nourishing element to it that only an oil could have. The packaging is really pretty, a further extension of the Rouge Volupte design that incorporates the iconic YSL logo and metallic finish...

BaByliss Diamond Waves

*Sponsored Post

BaByliss have just launched a new range of hairstyling tools called the ‘Diamond’ range. Consisting of a hair dryer, straighteners and a waving wand, they are all designed to help leave your hair totally smooth, soft and frizz-free with their new ‘Diamond Radiance Shine System’.
I got the chance to give the new waving wand a little road test this week and I was really impressed. It’s quite an unusual shape with a thin, twisted barrel, so I was intrigued to see the type of curls it produced...

Illamasqua Brow Gel

A gel eyeliner for your brows. Sounds scary, right?! Think again! For the past few weeks I've been using the new Illamasqua Brow Gel pots and they are amazing. Like seriously great.
When these landed on my doorstep last week I thought they would be hard to use, OTT and a bit of a faff, but they are utterly brilliant. Yes, you need to be careful you don't over apply and you need to use the perfect brush, but when applied correctly these look really natural and stay all day!
